Basically, if you have something automated that can generate 1 sale per month per domain, or even every few months, AND it can keep that result for hundreds or thousands of domains then you should have no need to do anything else with it.
Basically, it will come down to do you want the recognition of having a product out there to help other people make easy money, as long as it doesn't hurt your own pocket? If you do and believe the hassle is worth it then, by all means go ahead. If you could care less, enjoy your free time instead
Of course, if it fails for your own tests, then it's a useless service and you shouldn't consider selling it as a service until it's been properly tweaked to be successful.

Very true and good points. I guess what I need to decide is if I want to try to get a positive cash flow sooner than later by doing something to sell/license it now or if I want to want a couple months building out all of my sites and waiting for them to get listed and generating traffic, and then realize the cash flow from it by having it start to trickle in.
I don't mind sharing as there are hundreds of niches and thousands of sites out there that this can be used for, so i am not worried about saturation/competition. But you are right in the end it would probably be a lot easier to only deal with myself instead of several people. I guess it comes down to how much I can get for it and what do I have to do after I give it to them. I wouldn't mind selling a bunch of licenses if it was a nice little chuck of money I could put in my pocket.
It also has potential to make more than 1 sale a month if someone actually worked the site, sent traffic to it, went out there and hussled trades, etc... I'm basing the the 1 sale per month goal from previous testing I've done by doing very little work other than just throwing it out there. Which is mainly what I want to do for the bulk of my vacant domains.
Thanks for your feedback.
