I'm no expert, but I can't see why the links would be bad.

spammers tend to drop their pornsite links all over the place in mainstream forums, so perhaps it could be seen as a trigger in google's algorithm warranting further investigation or suspicion of a site, I'd be careful with the irrelevant linking non-adult sites to adult sites... the whole concept of how google identifies and differentiates sites based on whether it believes them to be porn or not is a very interesting topic

            good question

Dmoz.org is a nonadult website but linking to adult sites also as directory.google.com .
I am not sure about google algorithm, if it is a just big crawler calculating how many links a page has and where that page links with their content or if it has a deep algorithms also calculating exceptionals such as if it is a non-adult page linking to adult pages, pc-related pages linking to weather-cast pages. What is more if i think the exceptionals like that, i see that many exceptional linkings have relative exceptionals, such as a windows xp related page linking to an adult page because it is giving the adult page url as a trojan resource lol so if google give it a worth to rank in this case :D

All links should be relative. What would be the point?

Posting a link to an adult site, from a non adult site will reduce you Google SEO ranks.

Also never post links to the same server. Ie www.site1.com should never link to www.site2.com if they are on the same server. Google thinks this is part of a link farm.

So, your discussion is solely with regards to directories. You should have made that more clear.
