    That's why I left after 1 year. AA is a stepping stone and I used it as such. I haven't drank in over 9 years. However, drugs are a different story. High-five!

They're admitting a lack of control, and they're doing it, more or less, publicly (anonymous or not, they're telling someone they don't wake up next to, "Hey, I have this weakness. I have this problem") Can't be easy. Have a heart.
