                Something like that sticks with a person. It is a cruelty of spirit that far exceeds your other personal defects. But you are always welcome to apologize and seek forgiveness for those evils. I don't know about anyone else but I would gladly drop it at that point.

                                                            I have absolutely no recollection of the incident. I know personally I have flip-flopped on the condom issue many times usually because of the information in front of me. But I am still at a loss over your story because of the time line.
                                                            Arrow shoots were always in their studio and over seen by their in-house production manager so the act of firing somebody would have been with their knowledge. It could have been their choice, they loved Jerry, the producer is always the one who sets the rules concerning condoms, or it could have been me just being an asshole, I do not remember.
                                                            There is a much better story about me and Jerry Butler, and what an arrogant pig I am.
                                                            One day we were shooting him and he disappeared for 10 hours leaving the entire cast and crew sitting doing nothing waiting for him. When he finally turned up at 4 am I shot the dialogue scene we needed and then called everybody together. I had them applaud Jerry and his great talent as an actor and wish him goodbye as I informed them that he would never ever work for me again. I don't think he ever did.
