                                      if they started enforcing stricter rules about posting sell/buy stuff in the general forum the sell/buy would become more active...

                                          personally I am often undecided whether to post a "for sale" thread in the main forum or in the buy and sell forum

                                          I usually post in the correct "buy and sell forum" though, although i know it will get less views there

                                          but then I see some idiot with 200 posts and November 2006 join date selling a shitty domain for 30 bucks in the main forum and it pisses me off

                                                                      i agree, no use in putting it in the main forum, sure you'll get views, but no interests, and it gets pushed to the 4th page in a half hour anyway... put it where it belongs, and people who are interested will look at it, then you won't need to bump it every 5 minutes just to get it seen
