You're not being an ass...that's a good question. There isn't much difference between them and the default, except that they don't look like shit (well, in our opinion, they don't). They are based on the Kubrick code, just with a total facelift.

Both look great, the headers are really nice, but the sidebar, mainpage and single post miss some graphics...add a bit, and they really rock.

Only reason I asked is becuase changing the header and colors is about the only easy changes to make to the theme.

Something like this or this. There don't have to be loads of graphics, but the graphical elements used in the header should repeat throughout the site. You have already changed the font color to fit the header, now just add a few graphics using the same colors and you are done.

I don't want to be a little bitch but what you are doing is against the rules. And yes the maker of the Kubrick theme can sue your ass.

You are allowed to CHANGE the theme BUT you must distibute it for free.
You are not allowed to use it for commercial purposes, and you my friend are doing that by selling them.

i think some people are doing this as well? or im missing something. thats why i haven't done wp designs or im just ignorant on css. if i would like to sell wordpress template i would make it sure its from scratch..

goodluck with the sale slamdesigns. although andiz post has some point.

theres no drama... why dont charge people with the graphics. unique header/footer graphics + css color scheme and stuff for that template? that would be great and will be cheap for 25$

That could be a way to work around the GPL license. But I don't know if it's that easy. Maybe that someone can enlighten us?
