    Slick - the morales of the story and the story with the morales

    I wish I posted it on GFY earlier, this story and it's morals would save a lot of aggrevation.

    Winter, very cold day, freezing - 35F and poor sparrow fell on the road, semi frozen and was about to die. The cow was coming home and cow dropped a large pile of maneur on poor sparrow's head.

    The sparrow got warmed up by the maneur, unthowed and came back to life. Sparrow felt warm and cozy and even started singing a happy song. This happy song was heard by a cat who was walking near by, he came to investigate, found the sparrow, pulled it out of the shit and ...ate the sparrow for dinner.

    Morals of the story:

    1) Not everyone who shits on your head is your enemy.

    2) Not everyone who pulls you out of the shit is your friend.

    3) When you are sitting in a pile of shit - don't sing loudly the happy songs.

          I think most on here don't believe that it's a registrar's place to police content decisions, and if left unchecked, such actions could have serious ramifications far beyond the adult industry.

          Although, DirectNic seems to exhibit a bigger sense of self entitlement than even you do. Perhaps you should see about buying a stake?

                                                                                                                          In other threads he may have spoken differently i havent read all of them , but in this one he was just pointing out advice not laying blame.. he didnt even mention directnic .. personally i think his advice was pretty valid.. ( then again we arent barnyard animals , or are we ? ) I dont think anyone wants to see registrars becoming "internet police" including the resgistrars. Directnic has nothing to gain by being "proactive" in this case except lost business, sad really when they should be applauded for doing something we all wish we could do from time to time.. I think in their overzealousness they managed to turn something that should have been technical into something personal. and i dont think thats the role of a registrar.. but hey i could be wrong..
