a) 'close to free-fall' != free-fall
b) the buildings did not completely collapse to height = 0
c) there is no accurate way to time the actual collapse due to the massive debris cloud, therefore, you cannot identify the moment when the buildings 'stopped' falling.

But ok apart from that it seems you are forgetting a very small detail. A detail about the size of a huge ass plane that destroyed a good part of the building on those levels including the steel frames

Im not really into discussing conspiracy theories and all that, and havent really gotten involved in it because i think that when the case is this obvious, its disrespectful to the families of the casualities to deny them the proper closure. But, howcome the tower went straight down? I dont know the blueprints, i havent read the conspiracy theories and all the information i know about this was when i saw it live on the TV when it happened.
And i was kinda concerned about the towers tipping over and smashing the surrounding buildings. I never really understood why they didnt, and i really have no desire to filter through shit this deep, so if any of you guys could enlighten me here, i'd appreciate it
