Sounds an odd scenario - now that he's arrested, there will be more forensic samples avialable. There appears to be a lot of work to do yet - including locating the actual place or places of the killings. If the girls were stangled and no or little evidence of resistance - there are few situations where anyone could get near to doing that - unless they were already drugged.
