            Both kino and cinelerra are VERY buggy.

            There are other options that are also buggy: http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/top5-li...stem-software/

            Some years ago Adobe and Macromedia products (before Adobe bough Macromedia) where released for SGI platform, but these times are long time gone.

            At the moment you have Blender and Maya for 3D image and video, but no real competitor in the standard video editing.

                  I keep hearing people say they are buggy. But maybe I'm just really lucky because I have never had a problem with either of them.
