    Wii bit of a problem for Nintendo (recall)

    The reception of Nintendo's Wii video game console has been enthusiastic — too enthusiastic, apparently, for the straps that are supposed to keep the game controllers in the hands of players.

    After widespread reports of controllers flying out of the hands of overly energetic players to cause a Wii bit of damage to TV sets, walls and bystanders, Nintendo is recalling 3.2 million straps to replace them with tougher stuff.

      hmm theyre replacing the straps already saw that on a dutch game site too yes.

      Youd think theyd seriously test the console first.

          They didn't expect out of shape gamer nerds to have the strength neccesary to break the thing, they didn't take into account the high sugar intake of your average gamer can produce high levels of adrenaline when facing imaginary foes, plus their highly acidic nerd sweat easily burn right through plastic.
