    who knows about music? trying to find a song

    There was this song on the radio earlier, and in a typical fashion when the name was being said a louder noise stopped me from hearing it (wasn't my ass either btw)

    Anyway!

    I'm trying to figure out what the hell this song was. the best I can describe it was the chorus was something like this:

    why she run? she ran away? na na na, na na na na! my baby ran, she ran away, na na na, na na na na....

    etc.!

    It was a pretty catchy tune but couldn't catch the name, obviously the na na na etc. wasn't the lyrics just trying to fill the gaps. It kinda had a country feel to it but wasn't as droll and slow. kinda upbeat but sad lyrics if you read them out.

    Any ideas? other than listen to the radio non-stop for the next week and hope it comes on again.

                          If it's not Rosanna then perhaps you could provide more detail, like the genre, approximate era (based on the sound, anyway) etc

                                  I heard it on the local rock station. Kinda of upbeat but sad sounding lyrics.

                                  The best way I can type the lyrics is like this. try and think of them as long stretched out etc..

                                  also, the word might be ride, or ran can't quite remember

                                  I know that probably don't help much but I wanna know what song it is, never heard it before.

                                          If you have an iPhone, download the SHAZAM ap. It's great. Next time you hear a song you like, run Shazam and let it "listen" to the song for about 10 seconds. It will then tell you the name of the song, almbum, artist, and link directly to the song on iTunes. Best of all, the app is Free! I use it all the time.
