Well I havn't replied to a single one of her messages or phone calls since I saw her Tues night/Wed morning... I've spent pretty much all week researching her personality and behavior as well as trying to dig up as much info as I can about her. I think I've got pretty much all I need to know at this point.

she is still emailing me daily... and I have yet to reply... should I keep ignoring her or send her a clear and direct notice letting her know i do not want this relationship to continue anymore?

If you ignore her emails she's just going to make some excuse up in her head why you aren't responding to her, like maybe your computer has a virus or you can't connect to the internet, so she'll call more often, and then she'll think up something crazy like maybe your phone got shut off and next thing you know she'll be at your door.

If you really want it to end you should absolutely be clear and direct. You don't need to be overly cruel but don't spare her feelings either.

If you try to make an excuse to let her down gently and blame it on an obsticle out of her control like you have a new girlfriend she'll still hang on to the hope that when you're single again she has a chance and she won't dissapear.

I've had to cut ties with crazy people. Most recently I had to tell someone "I don't want to be around you because your crazy" and I got a novel sized email response about how the person knows they "have issues" and is currently going to therapy to make themselves a better person, blah blah blah so let's stay in touch so when they aren't crazy anymore I will let them back into my life. CRAZY . So I had to be even more point blank, as in "Good luck with your new life but I don't want to be a part of it. I don't want to be around you ever, for any reason."

This is what I feel is going to happen soon. I live in a smaller town close to an hour away from the major city I used to work. Her latest e-mail to me was that she is coming to the court house in my town this week to fight some ticket and wants to get together for a coffee...

I mean this is either another crazy coincidence that after a week of ignoring her emails she has a court date in my town, or it's bullshit. I guess it's time to make it clear I want this to end before she shows up at my door.
