I used to see a lot of sense in some of the things you wrote here before TheDoc. How you can compare people treating animals well in general, and then compare that to them not treating some unknown human not as well? I treat humans just as well as animals, unless they (humans) do something negative to me. Humans can fend for themselves much easier than the animals we (humans) have domesticated, so humans either care for them properly, or treat them like shit with things like tying them to a tree 24/7 to "protect" their little asses, or dog fighting so they can be big macho men...that is reality.
And your reality is dogs should feel lucky they aren't on the dinner menu...nice.
