    banned from World of Warcraft :(

    ..for impersonating a GM.

    the server has been awful for a week, with disconnects all the time. our raid was very demotivated so i made a joke pretending I was a game master saying that we would get bad loot from the next boss.. everyone laughed and we had a good time despite the disconnections. 90 minutes later I get a message saying:

    "Hello Alkaline. I am sorry to tell you that due to your inappropriate behaviour earlier this evening we have decided to place a suspension on your account. This is in the best interests of the World of Warcraft community, and we urge you to read through our TOS at htttp://asds/dasd. I will now disconnect you."



    It was only a suspension, but, furious, i cancelled my account and sent them an email furious, saying how with all the server problems they destroy our raid even further by removing a key player for making a simple private joke to lighten the mood of the raid. I told them to refund my account or I will chargeback.



    So depressed now.. 40 friends that I talked to nearly every day.. gone

    I am meeting one of them in BKK, I have told one person about my letter to them but do not have the guts to tell my guild that I may be gone forever

    oh well guess i can work more and make more money now

                                                      Best game ever. Really.

                                                      I had so much stuff from all the killing... Castle, keeps, towers...
                                                      One day i was put in jail in UO. And the GM fucker wanted to ban me.
                                                      However he realesed me and i put all the stuff i owned on different accounts and then did some bad things and got banned. But it was worth it.

                                                                  its only a suspension for doing what you did..

                                                                  and fuck raiding naxx, all that gear will be mostly worthless when xpac comes out, once you get unbanned chill for a while, work on pvp since the new reward system.

                                                                      also a guild mate might of not reported you, GMs sit in some guilds instances to watch em do bosses such as four horsemen, They wont show themselves but usually watch on hard bosses.

                                                                                                          I always laugh at the addiction that people talk about. This is how people choose to enjoy their free time. Some people are health nuts and spend hours in the gym and then hours reading workout or health magazines and books. Worse is the guy who comes home from work and spend 6-8 hours planted in front of the TV. Many people who are in the higher end game situation are being very social spending their time playing the game with in game friends and talking on Vent or TeamSpeak. INcluded with that is a huge mental stimulation from challenging PVP or Raids. Just cause you enjoy something doesn't mean you are addicted.

I was so fucking addicted to that game for almost 2 years. Pvp... I was HWL... PVE.. I have 6/8 Naxx set plus every set before it. I have + 650 healing or + 550 spell damage on my shaman.. lol I have a tier 2 mage and a full Bloodfang rogue. And to get that I had to raid 4 nights a week. That's not counting everything else you do on other days. That game is awesome but just takes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much time.

                                                                                                                                  And to make it all worse, after you spend countless hours achieving something to get some new items they just release better ones a month later.. lol
                                                                                                                                  So you can never really be ahead of the game for more then a few months and then everyone catches up. Even if you have pimp ass guild

                                                                                                                                              WoW is pretty damned fun, but I know a few people who just spend way too much time playing it.

                                                                                                                                              I set aside 2 nights a week and I try to play (raid mostly) on those two nights. Yah sure, I am only 6/8 T1 and 3/8 T2 but I still have to work to pay my mortgage... and shit, it's all for fun anyways - you can't be the best, cuz you'll get passed by some kid who can play more hours then you or someone who is sharing an account with 3 or 4 people and playing the toon for 24/7 straight...

                                                                                                                                              Hardcore raiding is too much for me... grind for mats, do Dm for green beer, farm felwood for stupid edible herbs, be on time, bring so many pots and other stackable shit, shit that's on different timers... listen to the raid leader freak out when a new strat doesn't work, etc.

                                                                                                                                              Bah anyways, what do I know... I mostly play my priest and that means I just sit back and play whack a mole with all the health bars on my screen...

                                                                                                                                                                              this is one thing i wont miss, i pvp'd forever to get my marshals set, and now look how easy it is to get, any noob can get it! i had many server first items, like my +180 healing candlestick (+55 more with enchant), but now there are 3 or 4 ppl with it
