    Man charged with calling 911, asking for sex

    TAMPA, Fla. ? A Tampa man was arrested after reportedly calling 911 and asking for sex.

    Police say 29-year-old Joshua Basso made several sexual comments to a 911 operator Wednesday before asking if he could meet her at her home for sex. She hung up, and he reportedly called back four more times. Officers arrived to Basso?s home about 15 minutes after the last call and arrested him.

    Basso reportedly told officers that he had been looking for someone to have sex with. He told them his cell phone was out of minutes, and the only number he could call was 911.


    Basso also told police he didn?t think he would get in trouble for calling 911.

    Basso was charged with making a false 911 call. He was being held without bail.
