I have a pretty strange smoking history.
I started smoking at the age of 22 which is a stat anomaly. Most people who had not started smoking by their late teens would never become smokers.
I only took up smoking because the state of California thought that they should have the right to tell business owners what they can and can not do.
I already had a smoke free establishment but this pissed me off that they thought that they could just dictate what we could do as business owners. I felt that the market should be able to dictate what was needed or not. If non smokers wanted more smoke free places, they should of opened them. They would become super popular if there was a market for them of course.
Yes a stupid reason thinking back.
I stayed a smoker until I decided to quit when I was 29. I ended up quiting and did quit until I was 32. I did not fall back on to smokes, I started again by choice because I was in a small party mode and also liked the buzz it gave me. They really let me work longer and eat less.
I also decided for health reasons to quit 4 years ago. I have not touched one since.
