I just wasted 2 hours finding out that just like last year, all the gallery plugin STILL SUCK.
Fuck, I woulda thought by now someone from the porn community woulda whiped one up.
If I Were a programmer I'd have one done and for sale by now.

What features is everyone looking for? I've been working on one for my own sites for a little while now, but I would be more than happy to release it for download once I get it polished off (I can pick up the pace if it is in high demand).
How I envision mine working is as follows:
- create gallery templates
- select file folder with full images to import into gallery
- images are resized to thumbs and the gallery is created

So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

Did anyone ever come up with a solution to this? I saw some programs mentioned like lightbox, and comus thumbs, but I don't see either as a proper wordpress solution to a gallery creator.
I saw one post about what features everyone would want, but noone seemed to reply to that ... does anyone know what features would be ideal?
Would the generated gallery post in the blog area, or would there be one icon from the gallery and some text that is posted as a blog entry that leads to the gallery?
Would the gallery plugin create a Gallery link in the sidebar so a blog visitor can click to see all the galleries available?
Would the gallery plugin be flexible enough to allow you to set gallery specs such as number of pics, tables, rows, width of table, etc?
Would you want to upload images into a special directory and then when you run the plugin it detects the new directory containing the images and by executing a generate button, it would generate the gallery for that directory?
Would you want to be able to set the size of the thumbs?
These are just some of the features I think I would like to have...anyone else got any they'd like to see?Comment
