    Dont buy from best buy online

    I thought i could save myself a trip across town to the best buy store by just buying a damn camera online
    and get it by today ..
    so i saturday i placed an order
    i expect it today ..
    so i go check the status ... it was shipped today ... and will arrive tommorow or the next day ...
    so much for the 30 bux in over night shipping charges right?

    i needed the product toinght for an xmas party
    jesus christ
    i wish i would of just been unlazy and picked that ho up at the store

      come on, it's kinda common sense that most companies don't ship on the weekends...

                      They cant process an order on saturday / sunday ??
                      I think it is a BS scam to get more money really
                      you pay for over night ... it should not take 4-5 days to arrive from time of order.

                                                  Yeah, I don't typically rely on shipping estimations.... especially around the holidays... distribution centers are always backed up.

                                                  I hope you plan to reclaim your overnight shipping charge however!

                                                      Shipping centers on weekends usually run on minimal orders. They only work 6 or so hours on Saturday and there's usually a cut-off time. Did you meet the cut-off time?

                                                      I have ordered several large appliances from Best Buy online and have never had any problem. In fact, I always received them far ahead of schedule.

                                                      Now Home Depot on the other hand, stay away!

                                                          It's Christmas time and you expect orders in 1 day, just because you order overnight doesn't mean you get it the next available day. It just means when it ships you get it the next day.

                                                              We go to camping and he has the ultimate portable DVD player (circa 1998) and we are like, WTF? How can you afford to blow $1400 just like that?

                                                              He is like, "Fuck that, I can't afford it, I am gonna return it for a full refund when we get back and then get a camera and check it out for a few days..."

                                                              So he basically kept a rolling charge on his credit card while he played with all of the latest and greatest electronics... Then before it hits 25 days (and an interest charge) he fully returns it with a reverse on the charge.

                                                              Then it is back to square one again...
