Here is a story that happend during this summer 2006 outside of Saint Petersburg near the city of fountaines Petergof. I was shooting one model "Flash in public" style for our client and one of pic set and video must be near the road and the driver (he was a friend of the model) showed me the good place to shoot this scene and I have agreed, it was a small cafe behind us with a lot if people and across the street in was a really huge nice Castle far from the road behind the fence. Wich was the Putin's (president of Russia) residence in Saint Petersburg and (but i have no idea what is that, because I am from Ukraine and live in Saint Petersburg just a couple month) it was a couple days before "BIG 8 sammit". So I start shooting her and after the pic set we come back to the car and i took the video camera to shoot the video and when we came back to the place where we were shooting the pic set, I have not had time to turn on the camera as 2 guys came to us. They were 2 cops wearing regular clothes and working for FSB (Federal Security service) and asked me "What are fuck are you doing here?" i told them i am shooting my girlfriend for our private collection. Their answear was "We do not care about this shit, do you know what that building is?" and they showed me the Castle. I told them "I have no fucking idea what that building is". They asked me "Are you local?". I told them that I am from Ukraine, thats why i do not care about that building. They told shut up the camera and move our asses out there. We sit in the car but other car has blocked departure for us. Guy went out from the car and showed his cop documents to the driver in couple minutes another car came with 5 people in it, they have a mashine guns Kalashnikov. I was frightened. We went to police department and testified there. After 5 hours spent in police department cops have given us the summons in court and have told to arrive tomorrow at 8 o'clock in the morning. Next day we came at 8 am in the court. to be short - I got the penalty at a rate of 40 dollars and the model went to prizon for 10 days of hooliganism. The judge has told that to me very much has carried because I from Ukraine and they do not wish to inflate the international scandal before the summit, therefore to me have given the penalty. And if I would be the citizen of Russia I have received 15 daysin the prizon.
