    is there a freeware version of partition magic available?

    or some programm doing the same.


    just formatted my laptop and forgot to add a second partition

    now i only got 20gig available

    i don't want to do that formatting crap again and paying 80euros for the full version is pretty much because i only will use it once a year or so

                          Alright let me get this straight. You have a partition that is 20g, now you have some free space that you need to make into another partition so you can store information there?

                          If thats the case and you are running windows, right-click on "My Computer" go to "Manage" click on "Disk Management" you will see your 20gig partition and some free space, right-click in the free space and select format and just follow the on screen instructions.
