    Castro then talked the boy into entering the bathroom, according to the document. Castro said he then sodomized the toddler, after which "the victim tripped over the carpet, fell, and hit the back of his head on the bathtub," the affidavit says.

    "Castro said the victim started crying and told Castro he was going to tell his mother. Castro said he panicked and decided to kill the victim by drowning him in the bathtub.

    "Castro turned on the water to the bathtub and filled it up just enough to put the victim's face underwater and drowned him. Castro said he held the victim underwater 2-4 minutes. Castro got into the bathtub with the victim, held him down until the victim died."

    "Castro then carried the victim over his left shoulder and put him [in]... the clothes dryer to conceal him."

                          Fletch, you seem to feel that those against the death penalty, are against the harshest punishment available. That is the mistake a lot of people make. But the actual thing is, that those against it feel that incarceration until death is harsher than releasing them from the suffering of life.

                                          Under California law, a 14-year-old is not eligible for the death penalty or a sentence of life without the possibility of parole.
                                          He isn't going to get the death penalty anyway. So, now what?

                                              As I have stated before I am very pro death. Just also very anti mistakes and will not even accept the chance of letting the state kill an innocent person. If and when they can assure 100% accuracy then they will get my full support. Of course I do think any abnormal killers, etc. should be very well studied so we can learn all we can from them mentally and genetic wise. Then I also feel we should do away with all current execution methods and switch to a painless operating room death, that was every organ and ounce of usable flesh and skin could be harvested to help others. Hell I would be OK with keeping a few alive as you harvest from them.

                                                          Death penalty is just too expensive to use. That said, he is 14 years old. Someone should do some investigation into his parents, I don't think is just normal 14 year old behavior. There is more to the story here.

                                                                  I am against the death penalty when there's doubt, because there's WAY TOO MANY cases of people going to jail that are innocent.

                                                                  But in this case the death penalty is much much deserved.

                                                                              If you can be charged with the crime and found guilty you should be able to pay the price!

                                                                              I believe in england its 12 years old and you car be convicted as an adult
