I think he is playing his role perfectly. Reminds me of some of the other creepy bad guy roles he has played in movies in the past.

Yeah he did that one serial killer movie that I can not remember the name of. I knew he would fit right in and is a good actor.

Though I must admit, I am very tired of seeing Lithgow ass.

I guess I never really watched anything with him in it that wasn't a comedy...

I'm not saying he's doing a bad job, doing a great job, but it's hard when you see him as the retard from 3rd Rock.

The first 'bad guy" role I remember seeing him in was opposite Denzel Washington in "Ricochet". One of the most sinister, vicious, unforgettable movie villains ever.

Lithgow has played several "bad guys" over the years - and he does a great job at it. Perfect role for him on one of the best shows on TV.

True, they are starting to go soap opera-ish with it, and it's kind of annoying.

Need to get back to the reason people liked the show, Dexter killing.

I doubt they will tie it in much this season, unless towards the very end or right at the end. They need some more office tension, with the one political dude could cause shit with, plus from previews it really appears there will be some extra issue with the "bad cop" / Dexter's sisters partner. Oddly though he convinced her to stay clean. It gave some lolz at first since Dexter really had no problems with what he did, even know he thought it and still thinks it. Just very interested to see what goes down now and how dirty he is/was.

And hey at least we havent seen a whole lot of Cubano man ass.

He is doing a fantastic job. He used to be in everything and then I hadn't seen him for a while. The casting people for Dexter know their stuff.
