    Why isn't there a "Contest Forum" here?

    The general board seems to be infested with spammy contests. It makes it difficult to sift through the garbage to find the real threads here.

      technically there isn't supposed to be more than 3 contests at the same time, but even the admins don't follow that rule

                      Each is a major program announcement complemented with a contest to keep them bumped for views. There have been very few threads that are nothing but a contest.

                          Here let Teh BoyAlley explains to you:

                          The purpose of contest threads is to get attention for an affiliate program. If they were all tucked away in their own forum, they wouldn't get as much attention, which would in turn defeat the purpose.

                          Since the only companies allowed to do contest threads are those that are actual sponsors of GFY, that would also diminish the value-add they get from buying a top banner spot (in reality, the full size sigs and contests are worth way more to an advertiser than the actual banner space).

                          Sooooooooo the entire GFY Universe would collapse as we know it, quickly followed by the entire Adult Industry, until we're all starving and homeless and forced to get real jobs are real estate agents and short order cooks and poor surfers will be forced to jack off to the underwear ads in Sears Catalogs!

                          LAWDS MERCY! CRIPE MIGHTY! HEAVENS TO BETSY!

                          Any other bright ideas?

                                      get over yourself...if people couldn't post their special offers,etc where they would actually get seen what would be the point of offering them at all? Plus a proper special offer from a content supplier or something is more of a buisness thread than the 'what is your favorite mushroom?' type threads.
