craigslist and phone authentication

What do you do on craigslist about "Phone Authentication"?
I have many accounts and I have used every phone number I have. As my accounts get cancelled I need to set up new ones and I'm out of numbers. You you guys know any tricks?

let me dig in my bag of tricks, i think i got 30 or so PVAs laying around from way back that i never used. if they're still good, I'll sell them out at $4/each. I know some guys who might still be selling, not sure though.

I know a dirty ass trick for getting PVAs I'll tell you in private, but ya, it's pretty fucking sketchy.

People are charging that much now because Craigslist just seriously put the fucking smack down and asked people with PVA's to re-verify their phone numbers. A lot of PVA sellers just went tits up...

I know of alot of PVA sellers, but as mentioned before, prices went way way up.

And chances are, if you buy PVAs, they might get canceled soon anyhow. CL recently became ultra strict and spamming that site has gotten pretty hard to do.

Lots of people I know lost their business overnight because of it (their fault for basing their business on CL though)

This might help some of you guys, CL regardless if they use their own system or they use authentify for their phone verification, relies on the CNAM database run by verifsign.

The CNAM database is what tells carriers what name to display on callerid when someone calls your phone.

CL will not call a number that has 0 value for its name in the CNAM record. Thats why if you have a phone number that doesnt display a name when you call someone on their caller ID, CL wont call it.

It is simple to get access to CNAM and do updates, that with the know how of getting numbers for nothing will get you all you need to setup as many CL accounts you wish.
