Anyone know someone with swine flu?

Half my family is sick and my niece is in the hospital right now all hooked up and shit and they r running the swine flu test which the Dr. said it looks like it and a bad case of it, if that is true which I should find out within the next hour or so then that means over half of my family has it!!

So was wondering if you knew anyone and how well they did?

They found my best friends girlfriend yesterday dead in bed and they think it was the swine flu.

It was the flu but we are waiting on the tests to know if it was swine flu or normal flu.

She died in her sleep at 42 years old.

He was fighting with her the past month so he wasn't with her.

Thanks im just sick to my stomach right now not knowing hell I've kept my kids home more this year then ever before and they have been home for the last two days and wont be going back for a while Depending on what happens I should have the drive out today! I'm pretty sure I'm getting over it right now..

Went to a party Saturday night.. found out Sunday afternoon that one of the girls there got diagnosed with it, then my roomie and I started coughing a bit.. didn't think much of it.. woke up Monday feeling like shit. Half the party came down with it(about 90 people).

We just drank a lot of apple juice/OJ and many hours of sleep. But.. we're both young, fit guys so.. maybe a different story for others.

I feel better, minus a terrible cough.. Fever broke last night and got my appetite back around then. I'm hoping it doesn't come back... I've heard a few people think they were "better" and then it bruce lee'd them in the ass.

I just got back from hospital hell I thought I was going to pass the hell out from wearing that damn mask lol but mom is sick as shit but chest xray was good! crossing fingers I or my kids don't get it! Going to call schools and tell them my two are not coming back till they have their shots * YES I want it and I want my kids to get the shot * lol

That's a bit... odd. The swine flu is viral, and antibiotics only kill bacteria. Although if she had any opportunistic infections along with the swine flu, antibiotics could be of use against those.

Either way, it's a good thing she was up and running again soon

My mother in law has had it and gotten over it all ready. She has had cancer a couple times. So, they were very quick to get her on all the drugs. It was hard for a few weeks and now she appears to be back to where she was beforehand.

2 friends that had it.. one got pneumonia (sp?) and the other shrugged it off.
Both are fine.

I have been told that if you end up on ventilator, odds of survival are low.

You know what I almost 100% fucking agree but then you have the god damn school people calling you and threating you with social services and going to court and being arrested if your child misses more then 10 days of school! I told them basically gfy!

I called school board threating to call the news etc.. then after a hour or so had the principal calling me saying she is very sorry for the counselors action and she will assure me that wont happen, she assures me with all the reports of swine flu that she will not allow for this to happen. She also thanked me for keeping them home from school like I have and she understood! It's a fucking mess around here im telling you!

May want some ice inside of ziplock bags. Go for groin, armpits, feet, forehead.
Heck for head an iced wash cloth typically is easiest.
