Soup here too.. Homemade creamy chicken and barley.

I start with this http://www.soupsonline.com/p-53-chicken-thyme-soup.aspx and add chicken breasts, onion, celery, carrots, extra seasonings, a can of cream of chicken soup and cream of celery soup.

            My house smells like Thanksgiving.

We had some very nice wild salmon, along with some wild rice/rice pilaf plus an artichoke.
Salmon was just seasoned one side with pepper, lemon pepper, dill, and salt. Cooked skin side down to make skin very crisp. Was very good and not bad for only a 20 minute meal, er perhaps 25 minutes with serving and prep.

Still have two pieces of the salmon in the fridge cooked for tomorrow. Perhaps a mouse, sandwich, or salad.

Either homemade pizza (with tomato, green & red peppers, ham & olives) or some roasted vegetable ravioli with a cream & mushroom sauce.

Whats so funny. No reason to waste the fish and honestly even though a salmon mousse sounds sort of funny or high end. Just happens to be a fucking easy way to use up salmon and takes minutes to make in a kitchen aid.
I also like to think ahead. It will be an easy lunch. I can also pretty much tell you what we will be having all week actually.

Friday night's dinner is gonna be great.

The fresh Alaskan King crab are in. The market down the street from me gets them flown in. Got some legs reserved to pick up in the morning. That and some fresh rock shrimp done tempura style covered with a bit of Thai sweet chili sauce and some deep fried calamari strips (from calamari steaks)

Geezz.. and I don't even eat the crab.. just cook it for the family.
