Hey Jace,
Our application is mostly unique in how we market to the surfer. It is a paysite within an application, thereby allowing us to control the entire user experience. We have licenses for DVD's which people get to download (see icoo, videosz, etc...). No adware/spyware, just an app that manages their downloads, organizes them, and lets them watch their collection.
It is interesting and unique to the industry because of the marketing angle and the actual content delivery.

my question is now how it works, but about if the content providers know that you are allowing full download of dvd quality movies to burn?
it is one thing to do what you are saying, but one of your biggest advertising points is that you allow users to download full movies to do with as they please....any major studio that would allow that is out of their mind, and I have doubts as to whether or not everything is legit with you allowing it
btw, i tried signing up too and my card was declined also, that must be great for ratios...LOLComment

Our content is distributed just like it is on any other site out there. I am not sure where the confusion is coming from.
As far as your card decline, we have cascading billing using Epoch and Segpay and soon our own merchant account. As you know, a large portion of the industry uses Epoch as their primary processor and I have nothing but good things to say about them. If your card is blacklisted or your bank doesn't want to process te transaction, that's not something we have no controller over. You should give Epoch and your bank a call to see what is up.
Regardless, I would suggest you actually try to promote our product and see for yourself!

There are MANY MANY more. There are also many differences between us and them, but the point is that they too allow the same type of downloading that you have a problem with. Like I mentioned before, our DVD's are fully licensed by various production companies. I am not sure what else to tell you or what kind of proof you need or I can even give you since nothing I say seems to be easing your concerns. Why don't you go around and ask every single paysite owner for proof of license for content on their site (that you don't even own)? Doesn't really make much sense.
Do I have your content on our site? No, and you've made it preferctly clear that you wouldn't sell it to me so I guess that's my loss.

sure, those others have scenes from dvd to download, but I don't see the term FULL DVD RIP on the sites anywhere
meaning you all are the only ones that actually rip an entire dvd, menus and all, and that is what you are advertising
everyone allows dvd scenes to download, but you claim FULL DVD RIPS...which I find hard to believe. I even had dinner with quite a few industry veterans last night, and every single one agreed that either you don't actually have full dvd rips or you do without the studios consentComment
