Man Arrested for Being Naked in His Own Kitchen

Springfield, Virginia resident Eric Williamson was arrested and charged with indecent exposure yesterday for failing to put on any clothes after getting up at 5:30 am to make some coffee. A woman and her 7-year-old daughter had cut across Williamson's front yard and saw him through his kitchen window.

If convicted, Williamson could be fined $2,000 and spend a year in jail.

Fairfax police say Williamson wanted to be seen naked.

Same guy was caught 2 years ago for being naked in the shower.

He should have learned his lesson at that time.

Yesterday I ran into a few people at the supermarket that were clearly naked underneath their clothes, but I didn't want to start any trouble...

If he can be clearly seen naked from the outside by the public through the window, that's bad. However, $2,000 a year in jail is too harsh in my opinion.

I read an article about a case in Toronto a couple of years ago. Apparently there was a gay parade, and several gays started running through the streets completely naked. They were put into jail for public nudity for only 1 or 2 days each. Compare that to $2,000 and a year in jail, big difference.
