Amsterdam weed has had more "myth" attached than reality.
It is like that fantastic tiny ass hard to get into outdated and grungy steakhouse all the locals rave about, especially its history. They take you and it is nothing special, just sort of average and you have had much better. You just never were part of the history and lore that gives it more than it really has to offer when push comes to shove.
A FYI - you Euro's, you do not have to have tobacco with pot. It will not make you go mad, make you sterile, or whatever if taken as is. Seriously.
