    Just Curious If Anyone Else Has Tried This...

    When you are posting your teaser clips for free loaders (tube/tgp/forums/etc.) do you release the best possible quality you can do and try and sell them on your product? Or... do you release a toned down, or less quality version(s)?

    For example.. audio's shit, no audio at all, over compress, and so forth.

              Speakin' from my surfer side, I joined sites with high quality teaser stuff... unless it's amateur type shit. If it looked like you put a lot of effort into your shit I signed up because for some reason it made me feel safer to use my card with ya instead of them sites that got them fucked up low quality bootleg lookin'/soundin' shits.

                  I would have thought the exact same. However, I am finding out different in tracking the trends over the past month on my little experiment.

                      We've been pushing out high quality, though I'm tempted to try otherwise. Just hard to quantify sometimes.

                          It happened by mistake on the first batch, but I thought I would do a little experiment. So that is really how this came to be.

                                  For Fellucia Blow we say the preview is only so-so and that it's higher quality inside the member's area. Same thing for Sexxy Brandon. Having said that, the actual preview vids ARE 'high quality' - just in Quicktime or Hi-Res (as possible) WMV, and inside the mem area they're that PLUS AVI. So it's kind of like splitting the baby.

                                          They go to the site and see if they can find the clip, or better quality. So it actually tends to bother them to the point where they go in search of it. Or, will even e-mail you asking about the clip asking where to get it in better quality.

                                          When I have come across scenes like that (bad compression, audio, etc) I will go to the site if the url is listed. I will do that typically even when I find a clip on a tube site. I will see if they have a clip store, or pay site, and check to see where I can buy the scene.

                                          Which is another reason people should always always watermark.
