a big EXIT button with little enter underneath works wonders.
I would have thought this was a bad idea?
Usually the enter text is large..... Its easy to make a mistake & hit the large button of which you cant be bothered to go back to that page again. You could be losing prospected members.

Or you could gain people who REALLY REALLY want to check out your site...
And I like them on the Right. You know where peoples eyes naturally travel as they read left to right. Roughly 3-4 clicks out of 10 when the button is on the left for some site. I will almost always click the right side exit by mistake. I never do that if it is on the right though.
This would be very interesting if several people or if someone who gets LOTS of entry page traffic that could somehow split the traffic up to two different entrance pages with only the enter button switched to left or right side. Perhaps just a random page load.
Then of course using a heat map on the pages would be fantastic too.

I think maybe exit button should be smaller than enter.
And what are you think about ENTER button on some non adult sites?
Like some company, or studio?
The button size, Exactly... make it short & simple. medium sized enter, smaller exit.
I think everything needs an enter, its polite.

I make my exit buttons enter anyway so I don't lose any traffic.
