You'd have to think that it'd be using some bandwidth, even though it's a simple HTTP request and a redirect, there's a lot of people using it, a lot of times.

True. However, I mean it would depends on it's use, or how wide spread. For example, if you are using it for images on mass. That would have a lot higher usage in regards to BW than say, a domain on some site you are selling. That is what I was referring to.
Yes. Common sense usage applies to the any website to the degree you are inferring it.
