And then ive been thinking.. Atlanta would be a good bet tonight as well..

But a smaller 2 unit bet on the hawks.

The Hawks return home after suffering a tough road loss at Washington on Tuesday in a game they easily could have won after a solid fourth quarter comeback. Atlanta has dropped six of its last seven games but looking closer tells a different story that just what the record indicates. Losses to Miami and Seattle came in overtime while losses to Milwaukee and Detroit were by a combined seven points. The Hawks are 3-3 at home and welcome a Charlotte team off just its second road win of the season.

The Bobcats fought hard and pulled out a four-point win at New Jersey, a team that has now lost six straight games. Getting up again for another road game will be tough and this is the first time this season that Charlotte will be playing a back-to-back game on the road following a victory. Including this season, the Bobcats have played a game on the road following a road win, not necessarily the next night, only three times and have lost that next game by amounts of 15, 14 and 14 points.

After getting slammed against the Magic in the game prior to this, it was very obvious the extra couple days rest paid off after playing three in four nights. The Hawks have dropped both games in the second of back-to-back sets but it should be noted that both of the previous times came off wins in that first game. Recovering from that loss will not be as tough since it’s the first time Atlanta has to deal with the situation but it knows this is a winnable game and won that needs to be taken.

Charlotte is 2-5 on the road this season, covering three of those games but this is the lowest amount of points that it has received away from home and is the best time to go against. A situation where two teams playing the first game of back-to-back nights on the road calls for playing the team heading home, especially with the opposing team coming off a win. That is the case here as the Hawks rebound with a big bounce back victory on Wednesday. Play Atlanta Hawks 2 Units
