So far this is the funniest reply but I second that thought.
This is fucking bullshit. MadisonAvenue goes down and now I will be inundated with SPAM? FUCK OFF!
Remove me from your lists.
Anyone from this list that sends me a message will be added to my "special" mailing list as well. And lets just say its a little more obtrusive and infective than regular spam....
Ouch...I've had that happen once with what I thought was a small agency and their list seemed to apparently be huge from all the spam that came afterwards. If this had everyone's individual email address on it vs. a "list" email address though, then it sounds even worse.
Want to crush it in mainstream with Facebook ads? Hit me up.
MA ran out of money from what I hear...Marc now works a 9-5 in the Philippines
Advertisers pay in advance, publishers get 60 days @ MA....text ads, banner and thumbnail hosting only.
Come on Jay...What kind of money is needed there then?

It takes a special kind of failure to screw that up.
I think its funny the way people handle these things
some actually do biz from it
some spam refferal links and look like morans
others get very angry hehe

That is a better question for them. Marc is an old friend of mine. We don't do business.

I never met him or did business with him before. Nice to have old friends.
It's just I don't get why he let a good thing slip business wise.
Who's them btw? I thought Marc owned it.
Thanks to all the spam happy asshats who continue sending this list out... Consider yourselves added to my list of companies/people not to do business with
I am writing to you to announce the closing of Madison Avenue and affiliated companies and the cessation of the business. It is with great sadness that we reach this day and that the business operations are no longer viable.
At this time, Madison Avenue and affiliated companies have ceased operations and have begun the process of an orderly wind-down of the business operations. We have retained counsel to facilitate this wind-down and you will receive more information from us as we move forward.
As part of the wind-down, we will be collecting all company assets and selling them to raise cash. This money will be used to pay the company?s creditors. At this time, the primary assets are the domains and the software system used to operate the advertising business. If you are interested in bidding for any of these assets please contact me at [email protected] and I?ll be happy to include you in the sales process.
Unfortunately, the liabilities of the business far exceed the assets so it is with deep regret that I inform you that no creditor will be paid in full. We are striving to maximize the sales price of our assets so we can pay all creditors the most possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this process.
Regards,
Marc Womack
