"Not set" traffic is the number of operating systems that google analytics was NOT able to set a cookie on, since google uses cookies to track uniques. You can see this traffic if you pick the site --> Visitors --> Browser Capabilities --> Operating Systems (All in Google Analytics)
TopBucksMobile takes a pretty conservative approach in our scripts to ensure we are not taking "not set" traffic and no PC traffic. We have seen other scripts that are a bit looser than ours and it takes the PC traffic. That's a big no-no for us.Comment

Posting conversion rates without the traffic source is meaningless. If you are 1:6000 pushing honest review site traffic that's bad, if you are 1:6000 with traffic bought from a vendor and pushed through a TGP to a mobile site it's less significant. Also if it's 0:6000 and 6000 is the total sample size you haven't sent enough traffic to get an honest ratio yet. Even just 3 sales today and suddenly your ration drops all the way down to 1:2000.

So with 10,000 uniques to topbucks you made zero sales, but in 10,000 uniques to this new invite only program you expect to make 250 sales?
If this is true, WOW.
On a side note, it's been a couple years or so since I sold my adult network of sites, but there is still a trickle of traffic going to my all of my old affiliate codes that were never replaced.
This is going to hurt; are you guys ready?
According to statsremote, this year and last year my affiliate code sent topbucks a total of 36,093 UNIQUES. From that, there were 2 sales for a whopping $70. Most of this traffic is on links a few years old, or older, and mostly from old free sites and SE sites. But $70 from 36,000 uniques?
When I was actually "in" the adult business and during my prime, TopBucks was my best sponsor, and I must have received close too $100,000 in checks from them over the span of a few to several years. During those good years, I remember fairly consistent ratios of around 1:600 uniques overall, and some reality sites were much better. But the past 2 years it was 1:18,000 uniques from old links. That says something not only about Topbucks, but also the industry.
To be fair, because I loved Topbucks:
ARS this year on old links is 0:14000 uniques
SicCash this year is 0:2384 uniques.
Platinumbucks 0:1361 uniques
I only have a handful of new sales off old links.

Well, maybe my traffic didn´t like the sites, I don´t know. I do not expect to make 250 sales with this sponsor, but I´d be happy with a 1:850 or similar, heck even 1:1000. It is indeed scary reading your ratios :P The worst part of all this, is that all sponsors will hurt, even with mobile sites, cos freaking pornhub on its mobile version is already giving away free mobile movies, several minutes long... so I guess that as Jacko said "This is It". Please the last one turn the light off.Comment

I don't know about top bucks mobile, but I just had the worst period in 3 years with Wild West Cash which is owned by top bucks.

How do you think google, yahoo, and bing feel about webmasters redirecting all mobile traffic originating from their sites for the sake of profit? Those search engine visitors aren't asking to be redirected, and search engines are all about providing the best experience to their users. It makes sense you could get penalized for it.Comment
