I always had a prejudice against Apple stuff for no good reason. After a failed firmware upgrade on my iRiver which effectively killed it, I bought an Ipod Nano. It's fantastic. It even syncs contacts and calendar events with Outlook.

We had the White 60 gig and the Pink mini (with the 4 hour battery).
both are cooked after dropping and mega use.
We bought the brand new video one. It blows the older ones away.
I'm buying the new shuffle for running. It looks awesome. I think it's a good price at $79.
The new ipods have way better battery life.
