I need a word press blog design.

As always I post my rules in the thread, expect them to be followed. If you can not follow them here I know we can not work elsewhere - end of story.

For a non adult blog.

Simple design, not graphic heavy, easy to see navigation in graphical and text, or just text.

Fast loading, do not want design slowing it down.

As search engine friendly as possible.

Would expect proper use of alt tags.

Want it expandable, based on what size the user settings happen to be.

Expect you to have references.

Expect you to not make typo's.

Expect to see that you have done at least some non adult designs.

I expect all unlocked PSD files and also a signed release of any and all rights.

I will not respond to companies that post see sig, or make me chase them. If you are floating another persons button, I expect that they have done work for you that you can show me. I also expect the same of them, if they post a bunch of see sigs, odds are they cost you the job.

Post in this thread a general price range for a header, and perhaps other few graphics that would be needed, installed included unless you will supply in detail how to instructions. Iv you are that worried about posting a price range, you can email it to me. However I may take that as a negative as I really hate having to price things for people, or feel like I may not be getting your best price.

Leave your email address, no ICQ or other messengers.

Do not just point me to your web site.

Post your typical turn around.

Last one so people actually catch it. Please be able to accept payments in other fashions besides epassport. If that is your only option I can not use you.

I should not have to chase down people to give business too. Especially in todays times, unless everyone but me is still kind of hurting from the whole recession thing.

Come on people, Real simple. Not much more than some header work and perhaps something else to make it stand out.

Then again if you have fris like WP ninja skills and can arrange my blog to match some of the status of some of the other sites out there. Hit me up. This could/can be separate from the design. Just would not mind some serious kung fu type arrangement to really make it stand out in the crowd.

Yup. I know a style I would love. Graphically it has no bearing though.
Like I said I want very little graphics really. And if possible a header I can change with a whim, since the blog is topical. Would not mind having like some sort of fall or halloween header right now.

Mainstream blogging design and theme layout has been taken to an entirely new level, and there is maybe 1 or 2 adult designers who 'get' it.

Check out the premium themes on google, most are less then 100 bucks (most around 50) and they will customize it for you for a little extra, but you will end up (guarenteed) with twice the product.

Again, if you want a quality theme, you are not looking for a adult designer, but a wordpress master.

I have to agree with jdoughs, 98% of designers dont get what a hq theme is suppose to be, they think having a cartoon of a woman in a header plus overused heavy graphics is qualified as a good theme.

David, I answered your question completly. I have no control over what a client does with a design after I hand it over to them. Nothing about my design is illegal when I give it to a client and no client has ever said "Sarah, I need you to design me an illegal tube". If a designer makes a paysite template and the client later fills it with stolen content, is that in any way the designers fault when they were completely unaware of that clients intentions? The "Basic Blog Design Package" includes design, slicing to XHTML/CSS, Wordpress blog construction, installation, configuration, and whatever else you need to make your blog perfect. What makes it a"basic" is less design elements throughout the site. The actual design elements fall more into the header than having full, detailed design throughout the entire site.

I was not asking about sites to be launched, I was asking about established sites that the community as a whole would be considered "illegal".
You also do and could have control over how your design is used. It is your copyrighted work as a designer and you can place clauses in your contract when turning over the copyright that would prevent certain things, however that could cause a financial hit to you and possibly stir up the pot a bit.

I am asking these questions more and more with people I deal with. I desire to know where they stand and if they have any lines or do they just take the cash and do not care. This is not limited to designers. Have turned down a coder because he made and marketed a script that rips other peoples content. So do not take it personally. I just get more agitated with obscure or political type answers, or wondering why it is of any concern to me in the first place.

BTW Zuzana since it seems I am directing some flack at you I really am not. I fully understand doing past work and not knowing etc. Hell even owning up to something wrong you may have done. I respect all of that. Fuck I know a stuck a massive dagger in the back of this industry myself years ago and I still feel like some of my actions are the cause of the chaos of today.

I know and I have some lined up.
I just have this small sick issue with wanting to keep business within the same industry however it does seem with each passing day the idea of a adult webmaster community has been left behind like a ginger ward of the court that the state left with you for a fat monthly check during a planned trip to the grand canyon. We all know by the time anyone even notices the kid is missing due to the lag in bureaucracy and passing the buck it would already be an adult and you get away scott free.
