    Do you think punk people are less likely to own and drive cars?

    I am having a debate with a friend

    what do you think?

    Do you think punk people (colorfoul hair, big earings, etc) are AS likely? or less likely to own and drive cars?

      Unless it was a really beat up piece of junk, the punks I knew in Montreal never had cars...most barely had homes

      However punk now is a lot more 'pop' so those folks yes I expect they have nice cars with their parents' money.

                          if you don't live in an urban center, pretty much everyone has cars. i don't see what owning a car really has to do with anything though. i think you should be asking something like do 'punks' achieve less, earn less, etc.

                          anyways, the look of someone doesn't judge what they do/how much they make. most 'punk' people are in high school/college or are just younger in general so by default they are less likely to have cars. 'punk' people also aren't obsessed with status like 'preppy' people often are, so things like cars aren't that important possibly. in this industry for example you could look like anything and still be making big money.
                          you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..
