Adwords - new campaign not doing anything

What could be the reason? I set up a new campaign last night and usually it starts sending hits with 10 mins but now 12 hours later still 0 hits??

Budget is set high enough and there is plenty of traffic for my keywords.

It probably tripped a filter and now needs manual review. Just about everything I do requires manual review now. Just changing one lousy word in the ad has to await approval now.

I think Darksoul is right. I usually only do mainstream and normally my campaigns start right away but this is an adult campaign. So that must be the reason.

we have had some delays with ad words also...Think it's probablly due to the adult nature of the conetnt being flagged somehow..Not 100% sure though...

Yeah, I have the same problem, and the girls at Google now write to me telling me I'm no good. But they themselves previously approved the ads already!
To sum it up, they have that really weird "Teen Porn concept" which is easily triggered (you may even not be notified) and makes approval for you manual, and then more and more difficult with each new ad or correction or whatever really.

Adult campaigns need to go thru a manual review first.

I had the same problem about a week ago on a new adult one. They do a review, and I had a mistake so it took even longer.

yep..I spoke with them about it yesterday on the phone...
it is taking them 1-3 business days to approve or dissaprove the adult ads right now.

check your delivered rate, see what percentage is showing. also my adult ads used to take anywhere from 15mins to 5 days.

Sorry for slightly OT, but can anyone recommend some good mainstream sponsors that work well with AW? I know people are not a big fan of recommending specifics, but many generic like linkshare, revenuegateway, etc?

                                      Thanks!
