Zoom in on your timeline view. There's probably a little space between the two segments. Butt the two sections up together and then make sure that all of the remaining sections are still touching each other as well.

this happens with single clips, meaning if i have one big clip and i slice it into 2 then render the second part it will always start with a black screen

EScortBiz. You can cut the part in black with the tools of the mousse, indicated from start to end of the part in black, and clikc in right of mouse in CUTE... or to move the file of video/audio to the start 00:00 (minutes) time of the project and then renderizar direct (without free spaces that do black in the video reproducing)...
