funny i know a guy who owned a shrimp boat that hauled in a cylinder filled with 100 lbs of cocaine.. he buried it on a deserted island (texas) and brought back a few pounds of it.. Anyways buddy doesnt do coke and doesnt really know anyone who does but he knows he has a good find on his hands , so he sells some at the bar for a few nights and prob selling it dirt cheap so someone must realise this guy had found it or something, anyways one way or another the cops get wind this guy is selling coke at the bar they bust him for a few ounces ( pretty big crime by itself ) he gices consent to search his house they find a pound at his house and he is screwed.. So the guy is freaked and the cops know he has more, so they tell him look we know you have a bunch etc etc tell us where it is and we will go light on you. So he tells them where he buried the cylinders.. and they gave him 40 years in prison..
