Is there a way to get rid of the auto maximize in WINDOWS 7

When I drag a window .. fast .. off the side or up to the top.. it thinks that I want to maximize it or make it stretch out all over the screen,
    I fucking hate that
I can navigate/organize windows faster than anyone I know.. but .. not with this bullshit going on
Under XP I can use three monitors and have 90,000 windows open and get to what I want before you can open your e-mail client and pee on yourself

But this shit has GOT to stop

Only that issue here if the title bar touches the top of the screen. Move it away and it doesn't happen.

Yeah I have noticed that as well, its annoying but not annoying enough for me to figure out how to stop it yet.

I don't know how to disable the auto re-size but instead of dragging windows you could try either Windows Key + Left/Right Arrow or if you use UltraMon you can setup any hotkeys you want to move windows.
History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.

google works pretty good when ya use it

          # Go to Control Panel.
          # Click on Ease of Access link or Ease of Access Center icon.
          # Select Change how your mouse works or Make the mouse easier to use option.
          # Tick the check box for Prevent Windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen with the mouse under ?Make it easier to manage windows? section.
