I think aside from maybe 3-4 bands today perhaps less (really racking my brain), can anyone name any bands that started after the 70's that will honestly be known in 20-30 years?
Oasis, System of a down, Disturbed, Korn, Slipknot, Artic monkeys, Pantera.
