If I Built It... Would You Come?
Ok- So I realize that this is either gonna be a great idea, or the dumbest one I've had yet
But I'm throwing it out there all the same
I see that GFY has made this board accesable to members only now, and that's a great step froward in keeping the public OUT of private3 industry convos
But to take things a bit further and make it even more difficult for people to get in on the private dealings and ideas of content theft and shit like that, I was thinking of possabally setting up an entire SECRETE VENUE, open by INVITATION ONLY to those who wish to speak privately and openly about these kinds of issues?
I'm not great designer by any means, but I do have access to web forum templates, and I could password protect the entire site, make the entire only viewable for members, have every membership needed to be approved before entrance, and keep the actual location of the website itself secrete, and provide the links to only those requesting and approved entry to the private place.
Setting it up would be the easy part, but running would be hard, so I would need some help with that most definatly
I would be willing to build, host and help maintain the forum, but I'd need some vetted industry pro's to help with admissions and screening process at the very least.
I'm a total newb, so I don't know who's who around here, and the main focus of implimenting this idea, is to keep people OUT
So if anyone thinks this is a GOOD Idea, please let me know if you
1. would come to the forum?
2. would be intrested in helping me run it?
