Do yourself a favor and drop by an ad-tech when you have time, I think you would really be suprised to see the different methods of traffic monetization that are going on in the mainstream space.
Trust me, what we're doing in adult is fucking prehistoric compared to what some of these new web 2.0 companies are doing.

Do you really think they tell you EVERYTHING about their program? Mainstream merchants have been infested for years mostly because these adware programs were pushed on them by the networks and none of the merchants understood how it REALLY worked. They don't always fuck people's computers, however, the end result for affiliates is always the same - sales get redirected to the adware advertiser and referring affiliate loses.
Call it legal all you want, but stealing is stealing regardless of how you try to explain it, dance around it, or sugarcoat it.
