    How many people got completely out of the US dollar recently?

    I have been screaming from the mountaintops to everyone I know that the dollar was ready to take another dive. Why is nobody on this board freaking out about today's action? Just about every currency took another dump on the USD.

    GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE USD. Not some of your dollar holding but all of your US dolars. Twelve months from now you will thank me

    I do have some money in USD but that is only because I am using it to short sell AAPL and PNRA. I fucking can't wait for PNRA be in the crapper where it belongs. I am calling for PNRA to go to fall 60% -70% in the next 12 months. I am calling for AAPL to fall to 135-ish in the next 3 months. AAPL should fall more but of course there are plenty of Mac cult members who are invested so they will never sell.

          That is not such a crazy idea actually. I remember hearing stories of Russians buying TVs 20 years ago when their currency was falling.

                  The last 2 weeks it went down compared to the euro from 1.4 to 1.47 and newspapers say it will be 1.6 before the end of the year. Not so good ;(

                      i agree the dollar is shit but if you think a few mac heads are propping up a 165 billion dollar company you should be posting tgp galleries and not dabbling in the stock market.

                          I think it is realistic to think that many of AAPL longs do not sell at these levels is because they believe so strongly in the brand. Their brand is so strong it is more cult like.

                          So no I am not thinking mac heads are propping up the stock, more like the people who are long do not sell because they now that there are so many people in the Mac cult. This is part of the reason.

                                                      I try to keep my wealth out of currency as much as possible; preferring to own real assets. But betting against the dollar by investing in overseas property proved to be a good decision. (as expected)

                                                                  I also want to add another call. The USD will soon drop another 6% against many major currencies in the next 8 months. Most of the Asian currencies will gain at least 6% in the next 5 months.
