If you just ask for weed they assume you want the cheap crap. You want to buy "Crippy". That's what you need to ask for and it will be much more expensive.

I'd suggest getting a regular taxi driver you can trust. Use him whenever you can. Once they have you as a client, they'll work harder to find exactly what you want.
