    How long until you do a chargeback on paypal?

    I ordered a design back in June, only a 1 page design, and its still not done, or shown a preview.

    I was promised 6 days ago that it would be done in 1-2 days.

    So How long should I wait till I charge back?

    I really want to avoid doing this since I know its a real hassle if the person were to do it with me.

      Unless paypal has changed their rules.. you only have 30 days to chargeback. And I'm not sure you can do it for things like a design. I think it can only be done on physical items that can be tracked through the mail? Not 100% sure on that one.

              If he paid by credit card it is up to his credit card company if he can chargeback, NOT paypal.

                      I just went through this recently.

                      I filed a claim with paypal which they declined until I called them to complain, then they "investigate" it for what seemed like a month, and then when they declined that since it was a digital good, I went through my credit card company.
