There is a pixel in my CRT monitor, showing permanently in black color. Is this a death pixel?

wow thats fucking amazing. Last night i noticed a tiny dot in the center of my CRT. I looked closely and i can see individual pixels and this one is DEAD. Its the shape of a pixel. it is a pixel.
There IS such thing as dead pixels, but not in the way an LCD loses a pixel
Im thinking its a video card thing. Something is wrong that keeps it from rendering that pixel
Could be DUST as well. Mines right in the center of the screenComment

shit, im fucked, samsung told me that it's a dead pixel. and that they only change it if the monitor has at least 7 death pixels. shit shit shit... never buy a monitor if you don't see it before. shit shit shit.Comment

Update to you guys, it was a piece of crap that was inside the CRT (between the glass and the display). It came that way directly from the factory. Fortunately, the store where I bought it, changed it for another one.
Cheers. ;)Comment
